Ulyanovskneft, OAO. The company sticks to the strategy of increasing production of ‘black gold’
This year is a jubilee one for OAO Ulyanovskneft. The company, which is reasonably considered to be a leader in its field of operation in the region, celebrates its 30th anniversary. This anniversary shall mark a new stage of company’s development. Even a successful company cannot allow resting on its oars. It is alive only when it makes progress. And this is exactly what OAO Ulyanovskneft employees have proven.

In April this year the largest upstream subsidiary of Oil and Gas Company “Russneft”, OAO “Belkamneft” is celebrating its 10-th anniversary. During these years the company has become an advanced enterprise in terms of the rate of development. In 2006oil production volume exceeded 4 million tons, and, according to the General Director of the OAO, Vladimir Ignatko, the development prospects of the company are clearly determined: improvement of oil production technologies, further build-up of production and resource base. This was the subject of the interview Vladimir Mikhailovich gave to the magazine “Svoye Delo”.

Looking back the team of «Aganneftegasgeologia» cna say proudly: a long way has been covered: from Ust-Balykskaya Oil/Gas exploratory expedition to a diversified company, the largest in the region. The expedition was set up for exploration and development of the resources of the North of Tyumen and in that commemorable 1962 it numbered hardly more than 500 people. During the 45 years period there were several reshuffles, there were ups and downs, but, in spite of all the difficulties geological exploration in Nisnevartovsk district is still “alive and kicking”. The main operations base of the OAO MPK «Aganneftegasgeologia» is still in Novoagansk as it used to.
