RUSSNEFT COMPLETES WINTERIZATION OF OILFIELDS
PJSC “RussNeft” has implemented 230 actions aimed at ensuring stable and accident-free operation of all supporting facilities of the Holding`s subsidiaries in the 2019/2020 autumn/winter period.
In order to prevent accidents and emergencies at oil fields at low temperatures, the Company undertook on a schedule basis the revision of the electrical equipment and wiring in amenity premises, storage and industrial facilities; check and partial replacement of shut-off valves at the valve stations of oil gatherings, water pipelines, wells X-mas trees; pressure testing of heat supply lines and launch of boiler rooms; transfer of pressure vent and safety valves of reservoirs to winter mode, as well as approved the procedure for notifying officials and emergency services on emergency situations, etc.
In addition, in preparation for the autumn-winter season, the Company's management took under the special control the actions aimed at meeting the requirements of environmental legislation and labor protection, as well as industrial and fire safety.
