NAK AKI-OTYR summarized its performance in the area of HSE and industrial and fire safety
Khanty-Mansiysk. OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, producing subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, summarized its performance in the area of HSE and industrial and fire safety, as well as HSE management system in 2013. The responsible approach of the company is proven by zero injuries, fires, accidents not only in the reported year, but during as many as a number of years.
165,726 thousand rubles were allocated for implementation of HSE activities in 2013. The funds were used for trainings on industrial and fire safety, environmental law, working places certification, industrial safety expert review of buildings and facilities.
80.5 tons of inhibitors were used for inside corrosion protection of the pipelines, 12 corrosion monitoring units were installed on the pipelines. The company performed the full scope of technical detection and industrial safety expert review of the oilfield equipment: 265.4 km of oilfield and process flow lines, 69 facilities – pressure vessels, wellhead equipment, vertical steel tanks, buildings and other. Last year, the company also obtained a certificate on re-registration of 16 hazardous industrial facilities in the state registry.
Reduction of emissions into the air is a priority. Their volume decreased significantly down to 2.03 thousand tons against 5.5 thousand tons in 2012. The positive trend was reached due to a greater share of APG utilization. The Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field scope of work included: completion of construction of a booster pump station; construction and startup of a fuel gas preparation complex (Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field booster pump station – ZAO YugraGazProcessing gas-piston power generation station); construction of an inter-field gas pipeline (Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field – Sredne-Shapshinskoye field – Nizhne-Shapshinskoye field modular compressor station – gas supply to BlueLine gas processing plant). 228,324 thousand rubles overall were allocated for those activities.
Regular preventative activities and operational control on all disciplines allowed timely detection of problems and prevent from negative scenarios. Internal audits of HSE management system contributed into compliance with the Russian law in HSE and natural resources utilization as well as corresponding international standards.
Employees’ life preservation and health care, industrial safety, environmental protection in the areas of operation of OAO NAK AKI-OTYR are the major priorities and main conditions for successful development of the company. This work will be continued in 2014.
