AKI-OTYR increases health and safety level at the place of production

Health and Safety month attributed to International Health and Safety Day announced by International Labor Organization was performed from March 28 to April 28 in OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary. The activities shall contribute to prevention of accidents, diseases and trauma at the working places of the Company.
The announced subject Health and Safety When Using Chemical Substances at the Working Places involved performance of activities targeted at devoting more attention to safety issues at the place of operation, employees awareness of the risks, protection from the risks, safety awareness.  The structural divisions witnessed impressive promotion including posters devoted to International Health and Safety Day. Each worker received interdisciplinary instruction to performing first aid during the accidents at the place of operations. The oilfields witnessed PPE workshops where the employees learned to apply new type of PPE which are being tested in the Company. Traditional contests Health and Safety Specialist and I choose PPE among the workers and the administrative were held as well. Those who won the contest received bonuses. Such contests contribute to increasing the competence of the personnel in Health and Safety issues and Chemical Safety at the place of operations.  Protection of life and health of the employees, safety at the place of operation, environmental protection in the places of operation in OAO NAK AKI-OTYR are the main priorities and the most important conditions for the successful development of the company. This work will be successfully continued in 2014.
