OAO Saratovneftegaz held a sports event devoted to its 65th Anniversary

Around 250 employees of the company and its service divisions played football, volleyball, participated in tug-of-war contests, together with  the family members. This celebration aims to save profound traditions of the staff and develop physical stamina. It was also devoted to the 65th Anniversary of one of the largest oil and gas producing companies in the Volga region.
The winners received gift certificates to the popular sports market chain according to the results of the contests. Various contests, horse-riding and riding four-wheelers were organized for the children of the participants and the fans of mini Olympic Games. Art groups performed for them as well.
Corporate sport is one of the important constituents of OAO Saratovneftegaz social policy. These events allow each employee feel himself an integral part of the staff with close ties. It is also important that both ordinary employees and management participate in the contests together. Funds for the organization of the workouts and contests, upgrade of the equipment and purchase of the prizes are included annually into the social program of OAO Saratovneftegaz.
It is worth mentioning that sponsorship of sports is not limited by intercorporate competitions. OAO Saratovneftegaz provides financial support to junior sports schools and clubs of Saratov region within the the charitable program of OAO Saratovneftegaz.
The funds are allocated to both improvement of the facilities and to participation of junior teams in the contests all over Russia. Apart from that the company often sponsors the most important events in the region.
