Raduzhny, KhMAO. The initiation of young specialists took place in OAO Varioganneft, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary, before celebrating the day of oil and gas industry workers.
The main target of the traditional event is that young specialists feel comfortable among new co-workers, to get to know the specifics of the company, colleagues and management.
Young people received the certificates of the oilmen and made the vow of a young specialist. Yury Nishkevich, General Director, said: ”This is a very important period in your life, you have become oilmen and together we are honored to work in a large oil company RussNeft as well as in a friendly professional team of Varioganneft. There are various opportunities to implement one’s knowledge and talent, it all depends upon ambitions. I wish each of you to find your way, to be active and determined and build a successful career. Good luck!”
OAO NK RussNeft believes in young specialists. Development and support to potential employees are key strategies of the company starting right from the university. The first step to attract young specialists to the Company involves the opportunity to have a paid work placement which is provided to the students of higher and secondary educational institutions with special education. Within the current period of 2014, 80 students had work placement under supervision of qualified specialists from structural divisions of the Company. Further employment of the young specialists in OAO Varioganneft depended directly upon the work placement results.
Apart from that the Council of Young Specialists was established for the newly employed young people.
The company regularly employs graduates from higher and secondary educational institutions. 15 young specialists were employed in the current period and 3 more specialists will be employed by the end of the year. They represent the future of the company and will continue its traditions. At the moment the Council involves 50 employees, young people under age of 35 make up 42%.
Attracting young specialists is one of the priorities of HR policy of Varioganneft. The company actively contributes to developing potential of the young specialists as well as to forming primary professional and technical skills and knowledge. Considering this objective the company encourages young specialists targeted at professional growth and assists in taking part in scientific and technical conferences, cultural and sports events.
