OAO Ulyanovskneft has been developing the reservoir pressure maintenance system at its oil field
Ulyanovsk. OAO Ulyanovskneft, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, implements activities on development of the reservoir pressure maintenance system at Zapadnoye field.
In particular, two bore holes were drilled at the field, one of which has already been equipped with a submersible pump. So far, three wells (№ 17, № 28 and № 30) at Zapadnoye field have been covered by the reservoir pressure maintenance system. The current recovery compensation at those wells is 127%. The plan is to install equipment into the second bore hole which will add one more well to the reservoir pressure maintenance system.
Zapadnoye field was opened in 1980 and was put into development in 1992. The present production well stock has 21 wells. The 2013 production at the field was 113.046 thousand tons of oil.
Implementation of the mentioned activities will allow the Ulyanovsk oil company to recover the energy status of the reservoir at the field as well as achieve the plan indicators on the oil production.
