PJSC “RUSSNEFT” SUCCESSFULLY INTRODUCED PLUG & PERF CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY AT TAGRINSKOYE FIELD
For the first time in Russia, PJSC “RussNeft” successfully performed multi-phased hydro fracking using Plug & Perf innovation technology on the geophysical cable at Tagrinskoye field Achimov deposits.
The Plug & Perf technology has a significant advantage compared to the introduced analogues which opens new opportunities for hard-to-recover resources development.
The main advantages of the Plug & Perf technology are:
· possibility to perform multi-phased hydro fracking at any intervals;
· number of phases may be any and multiple;
· possibility to perform a cycle of repeated multi-phased hydro fracking.
Early in March, “RussNeft” jointly with Serviceneftegaz successfully tested the technology based on the highly technological equipment and service support of Consolidated Services and Promperforator companies. This resulted in 5 phases of hydro fracking using 80 tonnes of proppant in each target interval.
