IN 2016 ULYANOVSKNEFT DONATED MORE THAN 5 MLN. RUB FOR CHARITY
Funds were allocated to develop social infrastructure of the districts of Ulyanovsk and Penza Regions, where the industrial facilities of the Company are located.
Beautification of the rural territories, renovation, supply with new equipment and preparing of the educational, healthcare and cultural institutions for the new heating season were carried out with support of the Ulyanovskneft employees. Thus, the children's Department of Ryazanovskaya district hospital (Melekessky district) was renovated and supplied with new furniture. New plastic window units were installed in the classrooms of the Sadovskaya middle school and middle school No. 2 (Novospassky district). The younger group classroom of the specialized orphanage (Ulyanovsk) was renovated, while in the village Russian Kameshkir of Penza region the artesian wells were restored to provide water to the villagers.
In the context of implementing of the Rural Doctor federal programme, the company donated to Novospasskiy district administration the hostel building where the accommodation for paramedics and doctors of the Consultation and Diagnosis Cardiovascular Centre was arranged.
Ulyanovsk oil men conducted traditional charity action to honour the GPW veterans on May 9th, helped children from large and low income families to collect all the necessary stuff for the school year (books, uniforms and supplies), bought New Years presents for orphans and children in difficult living conditions. Besides, thanks to the OAO Ulyanovskneft support, the events devoted to World Day of Persons with Disabilities were conducted, athletes with physical disabilities participated in the nationwide paralympic competitions while inmates of orphanages received clothes and sporting equipment.
