RUSSNEFT IS ONE OF THE LEADERS IN OIL PRODUCTION GROWTH RATE
Moscow. RussNeft and Gazprom Neft became the leaders in oil production growth rate in 2016 against 2015.
RussNeft increased the oil production rates by 8.2 percentage points (p.p.), according to calculations of the Oil Information Agency based on Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex data.
Gazprom Neft follows RussNeft with the growth of oil production rates by 7.9 p.p. in 2016 against 2015.
NK Tatneft, Slavneft, Surgutneftegaz and Rosneft also fixed the annual oil production growth by 2.6 p.p., 1.3 p.p., 0.1 p.p. and 0.6 p.p. accordingly.
Bashneft decreased its production growth rate by 4.6 p.p. and LUKOIL reduced it by 2 p.p.
As was said earlier Rosneft bought 50.0755% of Bashneft shares in the middle of October 2016, however within the statistical data for 2016 and December Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex provides the production rates of Bashneft separately.
