ULYANOVSKNEFT SUMS UP THE RESULT OF CORPORATE SPARTAKIADA GAMES

Ulyanovsk. The final phase of the corporate spartakiada, the chess tournament, has been held in OAO Ulyanovskneft, the subsidiary of PJSC “RussNeft”.

Three divisions` teams took part in the competition:  of South NGDU No.1, of Transport Department and of the central office. The tournament was held as individual and team competition on a round-robin basis. Team scoring was conducted after the fourth round, following which players of one team played with each other in order to determine the winners in individual competition.

Pursuant to 4th round results, the teams of the central office and of South NGDU No.1 have earned 6 points each. Taking into account the completely identical additional performance criteria, both teams have been recognized as winners, sharing 1-2 places on an equal basis. The Transport Department team has taken the third place. In individual competition, Radiy Davydov from South NGDU No.1 was declared a winner (5 points), while Raphael Apayev with 4 points (central office) and Radik Magdeev with 3 points (central office) took the 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.  

Therefore, the team of South NGDU No.1 won the team competition of the Spartakiada 2016, retaining its Cup. The second place was held by Central Office team, and the third – by Trasport Department team.

The corporate Spartakiada of OAO Ulyanovsk has been held since 2014. Its primary goals include the creation and development of the corporate culture, involvement of the personnel into the healthy lifestyle, as well as popularization of the sport itself.
