MIKHAIL GUTSERIEV AWARDED “HURRY TO BONIFY” MEDAL BY THE HUMAN RIGHTS AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE IN RUSSIA

The solemn ceremony which was held by Tatyana Moskalkova, the Human Rights Authorized Representative in Russia on December 7, 2016, in Zurab Zeretelli Arts Gallery in Moscow. Traditionally the award was attributed to celebration the Human Rights Day. The award is a significant acknowledgement of a wide charitable activity of Mikhail Gutseriev and high importance of the social projects implemented by him. Within the three years of its activity Mikhail Gutseriev’s foundation allocated above 2 bn RUB. to implement charitable projects and social programs in Russia.

The foundation operates in 15 regions of Russia: in Moscow and Moscow region, Udmurtia, Khakasia and Ingushetiya; Saratov region, Yaroslavl, Amur, Orenburg and other regions. Initiated by Mikhail Gutseriev the foundation implements the programs targeted at reconstruction and restoration of the Russian Orthodox Churches.

SAFMAR allocates funds to construction and restoration works, making of the church bells, restoration of the icons, purchase of the necessary church equipment. Each of the churches constructed and restored with the support of the Foundation is the Orthodox sanctity and historical and cultural landmark. The foundation contributes to holding the socially important activities targeted at the support of exciting cultural events in Russia, performs a number of programs targeted at saving and preserving the national culture; supports the program promoting healthy lifestyle and contributing development of popular sports builds stadiums and ice stadiums.

SAFMAR is included into the largest non-commercial charitable organizations of Russia. The co-founder of the Foundation is PJSC “RussNeft”, headed by Mikhail Gutseriev, famous Russian director and philanthropist.

SAFMAR charitable foundation was founded for implementing socially significant long-term projects in culture, arts, education and spiritual education.
