PJSC “RUSSNEFT” LEADS IN OIL RECOVERY RATE GROWTH FOR THE SECOND MONTH IN A ROW

Moscow. PJSC “RussNeft” leads in oil recovery rate growth for the second month in a row.Oil Information Agency calculations, based on Central Control Administration of the Fuel and Energy Complex data, show that the Company improved this indicator by 2.1 percentage points in November against October 2016.

PJSC “RussNeft” has been improving the indicators for the 5th month in a row. It was said earlier that the Company significantly had been decreasing the recovery rate from August to September, in October for the first time since 2013 it managed to fix the growth rate (+2.1% in October 2016 against October 2015). Herewith the rates of recovery growth in October 2016 amounted to +3.5 percentage points against September.

Besides PJSC “RussNeft” increased the oil production output in November 2016 against November 2015 by 4.2%, being the best indicator within the  monitoring period since 2013.

In general the majority of the companies increased the oil production outputs. Lukoil amd Surgutneftegaz (MOEX: SNGS) increased the recovery rates for the month by 0.8 percentage points and 0.7 percentage points accordingly, Bashneft – by 0.5 points, Gazprom neft (MOEX: SIBN) – by 0.2 points Slavneft by 0.1 points.

Gazprom neft has become an unconditional leader in oil production output for the fourth month in a row, the Company increased its oil production in November 2016 against November 2015 by 17.4%.

The recovery rates fell only at Rosneft (by 0.5 points) and Tatneft (by 3.7 points).

It was said earlier that RosNeft bought 50.0755% of Bashneft, though Central Control Administration of the Fuel and Energy Complex presents the Bashneft production rates for November 2016 separately.
