SARATOVNEFTEGAZ` VETERAN NADEZHDA BORISOVA CELEBRATES HER 90

People from Saratovneftegaz came to visit and congratulate her with the happy event, expressing their gratitude for her contribution to the formation and successful development of the biggest and oldest oil and gas enterprise of the Volga Region.

In 1949, having graduated from Saratov gas and fuel college as geo technician, Nadezhda Alexeevna came to the legendary Elshansky oilfield to the position of oil and gas production operator. The oilfield set the beginning of the gas industry of the USSR and the first Saratov-Moscow gas pipe-line. She dedicated her whole life, up to her retirement, to the enterprise, which became near and dear to her. Being a geologist, and later a senior process engineer of the research and production division, Nadezhda Borisova conducted active public work: she was repeatedly elected as Deputy of Saratov City Council and assessor of the Volzhskiy District Court. For the diligent and conscientious work she was stimulated several times by the management of the organization, and was awarded the honorable title of "Labour Veteran of Saratovnegtegaz”.

In his congratulatory letter, the General Director of OAO Saratovneftegaz  Tagir Latypov wrote: “The glorious labour traditions, which were founded more than half a century ago by you and your comrades, keep living nowadays. Your whole life is a remarkable example of   dedicated serving to the one of the most prestigious professions on the Planet - the profession of the oilman.

For the decades that you have worked for the enterprise, not only have you gained the reputation of skillful and valued specialist, but also helped train worthy next generations of professionals”.

It should be noted that at present OAO Saratovneftegaz takes care of approximately 150 of its veterans. Every year on the eve of Victory Day, all the veterans and home-front workers - the retirees of OAO Saratovneftegaz are provided with targeted significant financial assistance.
