SARATOVNEFTEGAZ CELEBRATES ITS PROFESSIONAL HOLIDAY
A festival dedicated to the Oilman’s Day was held in OAO Saratovneftegaz, RussNeft subsidiary. This holiday is celebrated annually on the first Sunday of September.
Saratov region Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy Vadim Grachev expressed his respect to the workers of this authoritative company which has been existing for 67 years. He congratulated OAO Saratovneftegaz staff, thanked the oilmen for their contribution to solving social regional problems. He also highlighted that oil and gas industry has been a solid support to Russia during both prosperous and crisis periods. It is the basis and the main condition for further development.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the oilmen’s compliance with social responsibility of business. RussNeft and Saratovneftegaz support and implement significant charitable projects which develop social infrastructure in the city and in its regions. Many social facilities receive significant donations, including hospitals, sports clubs, culture centers, preparatory schools and educational facilities. Big funds are allocated to the repair and reconstruction of schools, kindergartens, stadiums, parks, construction of play grounds, organization of arts festivals, sports competitions and children’s holidays as well as to many other exclusive arts projects.
The best OAO Saratovneftegaz workers were traditionally awarded with honorary certificates from Saratov region Ministry of Industry and Energy. Many employees got an honorary degree Veteran Worker of RussNeft, an award pin of Labour Glory I, II and III grade and even the highest honorary title RussNeft Hero of Labour. Also famous Saratov dancers and singers prepared a performance for the guests.
