THE PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE CONTEST HAS COMMENCED IN OAO ULYANOVSKNEFT

Ulyanovsk. The corporate review competition “Best in Profession” has started in OAO Ulyanovskneft, a subsidiary of RussNeft.

The professional excellence contest is traditionally held in summer and timed to the Oilman`s Day. Every year about 90 representatives of the industry major blue-collar occupations take part in it.
The primary objectives of the contest are to improve staff qualification, to study and share cutting edge practices, to encourage creative thinking and to build a high-performance team.
In 2016 the winners of the review competition “Best in Profession” will be selected from 10 categories. On June 17 the employees of Ulyanovskneft took part in competition “Best Truck Driver” on the Novospasskoye village autodrome. The pickup truck driver of Transport Support Department A.S. Solodov was declared a winner. Well servicing and workover crew members and foremen, dehydration and desalting facilities operators, oil-field equipment maintenance men, oil and gas production operators, process pump operators, electric and gas welders, supply and maintenance support electricians, chemical technicians and instrumentation and control equipment maintenance men will also exhibit their professional skills. Each stage of the competition includes both theoretical and practical sections.
The main assessment criteria are the speed and quality of fulfillment of the contest assignment, application of reasonable and safe practices, error-free performance, adherence to health and safety requirements. The competitions will be held until June 14th.
