OAO Ulyanovskneft improves its oilfield infrastructure

In particular, construction of a 5 km oil pipeline for oil transportation from Rudnevskoye field to Mordovoozerskoye field oil-gathering facility was completed within the 2016 capital construction program. The new oil pipeline has pig launchers and receivers which allow to decrease hydraulic resistance produced by asphalt, resin and paraffin deposits and high viscosity during the viscous oil pumping.
The start-up of this facility will allow to minimize the technological risks and decrease the expenditures for oil transportation by vehicles (oil trucks) in course of the company’s operation.
Improving the oilfield infrastructure, applying modern equipment and using innovative methods of oil production as well as HSE are the priorities for OAO Ulyanovskneft successful operations.
