OAO Varioganneft carries out a pipelines integrity enhancement program

During the period from January 2015 through March 2016, the company replaced 23.2 km and upgraded 65 km of flow lines at its fields.
 The company successfully applies a pipeline purging technology. 7% of the oilfield pipelines (125 km) are covered by this application. As of April 1, 2016, the efficiency of the routine maintenance cleaning is 100%.
The company also widely uses efficient corrosion inhibitors to protect the pipelines against the internal corrosion; Varioganneft intends to allocate over 30 million rubles for this purpose in 2016. Currently, more than 307 km of the pipelines are protected with inhibitors. Stringent control over the inhibitors dosage allowed to increase the effect from their application and reduce the pipelines wear rate.
The performed activities on the pipelines integrity upgrade resulted in a lower rate of accidents by 30% against 2014 as well as significantly better ecology at Variogan Block oil fields.
OAO Varioganneft, subsidiary of RussNeft, will continue to maintain the existing pipelines to ensure their integrity. Further upgrade of the oilfield equipment will improve the utilities infrastructure at the fields and allow a more efficient level of the oil production.
