Saratovneftegaz incremented recoverable hydrocarbon reserves

Replacement of hydrocarbon reserves has been always hardly stressed in OAO Saratovneftegaz. This year sees a significant increment of around 1 bn cbm of natural gas and 150 thousand tons of gas condensate. After reviewing the geological data interpretation and testing of two wells it has been concluded that Belokamennoye field with high depletion can be restored by means of natural gas reserves increment. Calculations of the specialists prove that costs on onshore gas facilities upgrade could be paid off in a year. It is supported by the company’s big potential for further gas production growth.
The increment at Razumovskoye field timano-pashiysky horizon  made up 648 mln cbm of natural gas and 163 thousand tons of gas condensate in 2015.
Additional and more detailed study of subsurface resources and continuing monitoring and analysis of the received data allow to replace the hydrocarbon reserves in the circumstances of oil and gas fields depletion.

The key element of Saratovneftegaz strategy is extending the effective period of operating the mature fields with different activities for the oil flow increase and for involvement into development of the less drained oil reserves. Well intervention is the major option for additional output.
