Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft, RussNeft subsidiary, improves the well routine maintenance and workover teams operation.
Given that the oil production continuity depends directly on proper operation, maintenance as well as on timely and quality oil and gas wells workover, the company has developed a set of activities implemented in cooperation with a contractor, which performs well workover operations and well interventions program.
Improvement of the teams operations is targeted at advancing the services quality, reducing the workover timeline as well as at reducing the downtime of the company’s teams, the press-office of the company said.
In 2015 the well workover teams increased from 14 to 22. Above that, the main contractor upgraded the equipment, according to the requirements of OAO Varioganneft, with 5 new lifting machines well workover trucks having been purchased. Tubing, steal drilling pipes, fishing tools and equipment for process operations and wells accidents response are scheduled for upgrade in 2016.
In order to improve qualification the workover personnel are subject for certification and the applicants are tested at recruitment. A Varioganneft supervisor is assigned to the examination committee to ensure better control of the qualification of the teams operating at the facilities of Varioganneft.
The rules and regulations were developed in compliance with Varioganneft requirements, according to which bonus payments will be gradually decreased should the employee fail his examination and qualification in a test round.
Routine maintenance and well workover teams rating was made to motivate and incentivize the personnel; the system of individual remuneration based on the last month performance is also applied.
OAO Varioganneft strictly controls the quality of the contractors services. Special attention is given to better efficiency and timely upgrade of the equipment as well as to qualification and competence of the personnel. In 2016 the company will continue the activities aimed at improvement of the quality of the operations performed by the contractors in relation to routine maintenance and well workover.
