Khanty-Mansiysk. KhMAO-Yugra. OAO NAK Aki-Otyr, producing subsidiary of RussNeft, intends to resume production at Vodorazdelny license.
Aki-Otyr demonstrated growth of its operation indicators and successful fulfillment of the annual plan for oil production in 2015.
Outlook for 2016 includes pilot operation at Vostochno-Kammenoye field of Vodorazdelny license. Special attention will be given to that project this year. 23 wells have been drilled at Vostochno-Kamennoye field so far. Commercial oil flows were obtained from the foundation and residual soil (DUK) as well as from the following suites: Gorelaya (UK10 formation), Tyumen (UK2-7 formations), Abalak (K1 formation), Vikulov (VK1 formation). The field’s reserves recovery is low, and further development will involve the most up-to-date methods.
Well interventions will allow to increase the oil production due to hydraulic fracturing at two wells (UK formation) and side-tracking at one well (VK1 formation). Seven wells will be converted from other categories. The estimated production from the activities will be 181 tons per day.
Large-scale work will be performed at Vostochno-Kamennoye field soon. In 2016, the main activities will be related to the field’s infrastructure development. Geologists expect the field to have a good potential, and a good work will render a significant outcome. The company’s development strategy for the coming years is reliant on Vodorazdelny license.
