RussNeft and Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas continue joint educational project

The second session of 2015-2016 academic year starts on the 1st of February at OAO Saratovneftegaz (RussNeft producing subsidiary) Training center at the Regional Training Department of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (Moscow). The joint educational project of RussNeft and the university, initiated by Mikhail Gutseriev, the Head of the Company, started in 2010. In 2011 the territory of the project was expanded and now in involves both the Volga region and the West Siberia. The similar regional training department was opened in Raduzhny (KhMAO) at OAO Varioganneftegaz, RussNeft subsidiary.
Around 70 graduate students of the Regional Training Department have already become the students of Gubkin University within the project and the target admission of the Holding.
33 graduate students from Saratov and Ulyanovsk region and also from the territories where some of the subsidiaries operate, will continue training for their future study in Moscow. Apart from children of the OAO Saratovneftegaz companies’ employees and OAO Ulyanovskneft, there are 16 students who received the references from the administrations of the municipal districts of Saratov region, where the producing facilities of the companies are located. They are the winners of different contests and olympiads, who revealed perfect knowledge in special studies.
RussNeft sponsors the training and further studies at Gubkin University. It is worth mentioning that the leading tutors from the University teach the special studies  (Mathematics and Physics) in the Training Department, which allows the graduate students to prepare effectively for the State exams and for entry into the most prestigious universities of Russia.
The strategic target of the educational project is to prepare highly qualified specialists for their further job in RussNeft and in the companies within the structure of the Companies.
Organization of the work at the Regional Training Department is the next important step in implementing the program of RussNeft for training of  young highly qualified specialists who will be much sought after at the companies of the Holding and in the oil and gas industry in general.
