Varioganneft fulfilled its obligations related to the compensation payments to the communal family landowners

Around 4.8 million rubles were allocated by OAO Varioganneft for compensations to the native minorities of Yugra at the communal family lands where the company produces hydrocarbons.
According to OAO Varioganneft press-service, the company and the heads of the communal family lands maintain individual agreements based on the needs of the native population. Currently, the compensation payments are performed under 10 effective agreements based on the federal laws “Subsurface resources” and “Guarantees of rights for native minorities of RF” as well as regional laws. The funds are meant to purchase construction materials, fuels and lubricants, snowmobiles and outboard engines.
 Support to the indigenous people living in Khanty-Mansiysk is one of the directions of the charitable and sponsorship program of RussNeft’s subsidiaries. Varioganneft allotted over 8 million rubles for implementation of the program in 2015. The company intends to maintain the focus on the support to the northern native minorities and execution of the projects for social development and upgrade of the areas of its operation.
