Saratovneftegaz – Russneft: 10 years together!

21 December marks exactly 10 years since Saratovneftegaz entered into the corporate structure of RussNeft – one of the ten largest oil and gas companies in the country.
In turn, Saratovneftegaz is the oldest and most authoritative oil-and-gas production enterprise in the Saratov region; the main part of regional production of hydrocarbons falls to its share. Let us remind that this year the company also celebrated 66 years since its foundation. Today it has more than 40 producing fields in the Saratov and Volgograd regions and the Republic of Kalmykia.
Over the past 10 years as a subsidiary of the holding company RussNeft Saratovneftegaz produced more than 10.7 mln tons of oil. In total, since 1947, discovered and developed fields gave more than 91 mln tons of oil.
Moreover, over the past 10 years, the total volume of produced natural gas by Saratovneftegaz exceeded 4.4 bcm and associated - 1.2 bcm. It’s worth noting that the regional Ministry of Industry and Energy stated that the largest part (41.29%) of the total volume of gas produced in the 11 months of the current year accounted for Saratovneftegaz, that once again confirmed its leading position among enterprises of oil and gas sector of the Saratov region. A crucial role in the increase of gas production belongs to the integration of RedOil into the structure of Saratovneftegaz which helped to solve the problem of gas utilization in the producing field of the Perelyubsky District.
Over the ten years that Saratovneftegaz has been a subsidiary of RussNeft, the addition of the recoverable reserves of oil and gas condensate amounted to 9 mln tons (industrial category C) and 0.368 mln tons (industrial category C2). Reserves of the combustion gases rose by more than 4 bcm during the same period. In addition to that, an inorganic growth of reserves related to the acquisition of RedOil, amounted to more than 4 mln tons of oil (including gas condensate) and gas - almost 8 bcm.

 This year our company has significantly increased the volume of gas reserves solely by technologies. It is about 1 bcm. Geologists made their job! After interpretation of geological data and tests of wells, it became clear – Belokamennoe field, which was considered to be depleted, gets a second wind due to the increase of natural gas reserves. It’s sufficient to carry out a partial upgrade of ground gas infrastructure, which will pay off in less than a year. Our achievements confirm that Saratovneftegaz has a great potential for gas production growth.
For the last decade, capital investments of Saratovneftegaz in the construction and modernization of oil-and-gas infrastructure has exceeded 5 bln rubles (incl. the program of capital reconstruction – 1.86 bln rubles). Since 2006: it was built and constructed more than 230 km of pipelines; 50 gas flow metering stations were put into operation; 6 objects obtained engineering and protective constructions; 13 objects were equipped with system of video surveillance.
The success of Saratovneftegaz has an impact on the welfare of residents of municipalities, in which the company conducts its production activities. Thus, commissioning of a new gas pipeline "GKS Stepnovskaya — UPN Gryaznushenskaya" (40 km long) allowed not only to solve a problem of effective use of associated oil gas and to cut down expenses of fuel transportation, but also to increase reliability of its supplies from the Left Bank fields (up to 300 thousand m3) days) to the heating plant-3 of the city of Engel’s.
Application of new technologies aimed at reducing the negative impact on the environment is one of the priorities of RussNeft in the field of ecology. In the period between 2010 and 2015, Saratovneftegaz allocated 142 mln rubles to a whole range of environmental protection measures, 55 mln of which was used to eliminate unauthorized storage locations of oily waste.
RussNeft and its subsidiary Saratovneftegaz are rightly among the biggest regional philanthropic organizations. Tangible financial support is provided to the objects of social sphere, which traditionally lack budget allocations: hospitals, sport clubs, houses of culture, schools and kindergartens. Only in the period between 2011 and 2015 RussNeft and Saratovneftegaz in implementation of the charitable program transferred almost 400 million rubles on these purposes. One of the most important investment projects was the construction of a modern kindergarten "Zhar-ptitsa" for 320 places in the village Yubileyniy near the Volga in Saratov region. This allowed to significantly reduce social tension, which was expressed in shortage of preschools in the region.
All of the above confirms commitment of RussNeft and Saratovneftegaz to the policy of the social responsibility of business which is consistently carried out by us. The large-scale charity of oil-industry workers in Saratov region is very well covered in regional media. In December 2014, Moscow hosted the awarding ceremony of the winners of a nationwide campaign "Philanthropist of the Year". Regions of Russia nominated different people for a prize, established by the Russian Ministry of Culture; Prize-winner of the Saratov region became the Chairman of RussNeft Mikhail Gutseriev.
Saratovneftegaz produced more than 10.7 mln tons of oil for 10 years as subsidiary of RussNeft.
4.4 mln m3 is the total volume of natural gas produced by Saratovneftegaz over the last 10 years.

Formally, the company has been working for six decades and a half, but actually a lot longer - from the thirties of the last century.
