OAO Saratovneftegaz held a round of anti-terror trainings

The activities were organized and carried out in some municipalities of Saratov region under auspices of OAO Saratovneftegaz Security department in order to take additional preventative measures to ensure higher anti-terror security of the facilities guarded by OOO ChOP Garant–Saratov. The main objective of the trainings was to practice cooperation in emergencies including tracing and apprehension of intruders as well as detection of explosives. Garant–Saratov management and employees, investigation police officers, traffic inspectors participated in the activities.
Besides, the training at Stepnovsky oil treatment facility of Levoberejny oil and gas production department in Sovietsky district involved the rapid response team of the neighboring Stepnovsky underground natural gas storage department (OOO Gazprom PKhG)to participate in deactivation of a trespasser having set “an explosive” at the facility. The fire-fighting brigade and vehicle of Stepnovsky underground natural gas storage department also took part in the training.
Moreover, the training covered prompt and accurate evacuation of personnel in case of emergency at OAO Saratovneftegaz facilities.
In general, such complex special tactic trainings are meant to fully exclude potentiality of terror attacks which may cause both human losses and serious economic damages and unpredictable environmental consequences.
It is to be added that OAO Saratovneftegaz Security department intends to hold a number of similar special tactic trainings by the year end. Such trainings will be focused on higher alertness of ChOP Garant-Saratov employees during their service as well as more thorough and detailed practice of their interaction with police to ensure stable operation of the facilities in the conditions of growing terror threat.
