OAO Varioganneft implements gas program

Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft, the subsidiary of RussNeft, implements gas program.

Varioganneft intensively develops gas business, intended to commercialize associated petroleum gas reserves and to improve efficiency of its utilization, the press team of the Company informs.
The gas utilization rate in Varioganneft is not less than 95%. To reach such a level, the Company has carried out number of measures, including switching of boiler facilities of the Variogann field to gas fuel. Upgrade of the equipment, fulfilled with application of high technology, ensured minimal pollutant emission.  Moreover, switch to gas resulted in cut in energy spending and fuel consumption, as well as in increase in boiler efficiency and heat supply reliability of the facilities of Varioganneft oil block.
Besides, the autonomous system of electricity generation of Valyuninskoye oilfield has also been upgraded. Launching of power supply packages, equipped with gas reciprocating machines, enabled the Company to stop using diesel electric generators, at least partially. Thus, the Company managed to solve a few tasks – to minimize fuel spending, to increase APG utilization rate and to cover energy expenditures at the above oilfield.
Development of gas segment, APG utilization effectiveness and increase of volumes of gas refining are the main priorities of the Company. In 2016 the volumes of gas supply from OAO Varioganneft will amount up to 1, 5 bn cbm.
