Saratov. RussNeft has donated money for maintenance and replacement of communal infrastructure of the Saratov Region
RussNeft carries on planned implementation of charitable program, aimed at support of municipal districts of Saratov Region, where the Company fulfills its operations. Thus, significant financial support amounted to 800 thousand rubles has been given to Saratov district this year. The oilmen`s non-repayable funds were directed to communal infrastructure in order to provide uninterrupted water supply to the number of social facilities of Krasniy Octyabr work settlement.
In the end of October the undertaken complex of measures, aimed to replace rundown water pipe line, resulted in upgraded cold water supply for a school, two kindergartens (nursery schools), a junior school of arts, a local hospital (two in-patient and ambulatory care units.
The assistance in solving the recurrent housing and utilities problem was also given to Teplovskoye municipality of Novoburasskiy district. Moreover, RussNeft allocated 700 thousand rubles for replacement of rundown pipe, supplying water to the Ivanovka village. Often recurring bursts in pipe system, which has been functioning since 1970s led to social tensions in the village. Currently, the solving of this problem is in its final stage.
RussNeft and its subsidiary OAO Saratovneftegaz systematically conduct charitable activities in the regions where they operate. Measurable financial assistance is given to healthcare, recreation, sport and education facilities, which are traditionally in need of budget funding. Significant donations are being made for redesign and renovation of schools, kindergartens, stadiums, parks and mini-parks, children`s playgrounds, for organization of creative festivals, sporting events, children`s summer vacation and various exclusive creative projects.
