OAO Varioganneft reduces the oil production costs

OAO Varioganneft reduces the oil production costs by increasing the time between repairs and power efficiency of the wells operation. The time between repairs of Variogan oil block fields wells in 9 months of 2015 increased up to 8 days.
The long time between repairs at the company’s licenses is possible due to a number of innovation techniques, quality and timely maintenance of the oilfield equipment, the press-service reports.
The time between repairs is an assessment indicator for wells and downhole submersible pumps performance. The high level of this indicator means, first of all, lower expenses on maintaining the wells in operational state, less downtime for the wells to be overhauled, saving electrical power and resources, possibility to carry out additional activities to boost oil production.
Over 7.9 million KW/h were saved in 9 months of 2015 in result of implementation of the program for the wells operation power efficiency increase, namely: fewer uneconomic wells, selection of power efficient submersible pumps, introduction of the periodic short-time activation technology for the low production rate wells.
