Employees of OAO Saratovneftegaz have participated in corporate Health Day

Around 100 employees of OAO Saratovskneftegaz took part in a corporate Health Day, held at the premises of Children`s Wellness Centre “Zdorovye” on October 17th.
The event was organized within framework of   measures for implementation of the Decree of the President of the RF On All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports GTO Complex, targeted at further development of the state policy on physical culture and sports, as well as creating efficient system of physical education in order to develop human potential and  enhance population wellness.
In GTO exercises both employees and their family members exposed sporting skills. Running, pull–ups and other exercises were intended not only to test the fitness of the participants, but also to stimulate their vigor and optimism. Besides, all comers were able to challenge themselves at new overhead obstacle course, opened last summer, and to play laser tag. The latter is also available in a wide array of rides of the Children`s Centre.
Festive atmosphere of the event was provided by popular folk music band ‘Kolyadki”, whose lively music inspired both participants and their supporters.
The staff are sure that such events, being the important part of Saratovneftegaz strategy of sustainable development, have a positive impact on conservation of old and enduring sport traditions, unite people, strengthen the team spirit.
Corporate content is not the only way to provide sport patronage. Within the framework of its charity program, Saratovneftegaz on a regular basis supports youth sports schools and clubs of Saratov region. The funds are allocated for renovation of their facilities and resources and for participation of the youth teams in training camps and competitions.
Moreover, the company often subsidizes the most significant mass sporting events of the region.
