OAO Varioganneft produces above 1.6 mln tons of oil since early 2015
Raduzhny, KhMAO.OAO Varioganneft has produced above 1.6 mln tons of oil for the previous period of 2015, the press-office of the at Variogan oilfields company reported.
Hard-to-recover oil reserves were involved into production by side-tracking in order to reach the needed output. 14 wells at the licenses were brought back to operation from suspension by means of side-tracking for the reporting period which allowed the company to provide the additional oil production in the amount of 44 682 tons.
Drilling of 3 wells was completed within the implementation of development drilling at Zapadno-Varioganskoye field. The daily increment of production by means of new wells made up more than 190 tons per day.
OAO Varioganneft will implement the license development program further. It was planned to drill 16 development wells at Variogan oil block, 11 of which have been already commissioned. The company expects to produce around 68 thousand tons of oil by commissioning of new wells.More news
