OAO Varioganneft prepares its facilities for the coming heating season

Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft, subsidiary of RussNeft, has allocated 1.8 million rubles for preparation of its facilities for the 2015-2016 heating season.

The preparation of the heat and power facilities of Varioganneft for the next heating season started in May, 2015, and was completed as scheduled. The following was performed:
- a new boiler was installed at the oil treatment and pumping facility
- a line pump was replaced at the Utility Vehicles Department boiler station
- ultrasound antiscale devices were installed in 5 boiler stations of Varioganneft`s facilities
- planned preventive maintenance of the company’s heat and power equipment.
Besides, an AG-fuelled 4 MW modular boiler house was put into operation in March, 2015, at office and amenity facilities of Varioganeft. The main function of the boiler house is to provide thermal energy to all office and amenity facilities of Varioganneft, as well as to the tubing maintenance shop.
Using the associated gas instead of the diesel fuel will allow to reduce significantly the fuel expenses and to optimize the usage of the associated gas, produced at Variogan field.
Maintaining the failure-free operation of boiler equipment through the whole heating season is one of the priorities of the Company. For the 2014-2015 heating period, the boilers of Varioganneft generated 26.548 Gcal of thermal energy.
For the above period Varioganneft secured sustained performance of the boiler equipment, consequently having improved the quality of the heating supply of the facilities at the Variogan oil block.
