Saratov. OAO Saratovneftegaz specialists (AO NK RussNeft subsidiary) acted as consultants and experts for two learning games: The Black Gold and Oil of Russia.
The launch of the games is attributed to the professional day of oil and gas industry employees.
The target audience of the games is children above 5 years old. The authors of Saratov publishing house made it easy for the children to understand why hydrocarbon production and oil and gas industry are important for Russia. They also did their best to make the children familiar with the main stages of production, further processing of hydrocarbons and spheres of local industry where hydrocarbons are used.
Apart from that the Black Gold game will allow its participants to feel themselves in the shoe of the owner of their own oil business. It will also learn to manage the operations of the strategic sphere company, to manage the search and development of the fields, to build and maintain the wells, to facilitate the living conditions of the drillers, to pay state taxes and to allocate part of the revenues to charitable projects. The producers of the game are also sure that these games are also good in general education as they help to improve the skills of counting, develop attention, logic, communicational skills and strengthen corporate spirit.
It is also important that in course of developing a concept and polygraphic design of the board game, photos and historical facts were used representing the main stages of development and the present times of OAO Saratovneftegaz (included into the corporate structure of RussNeft), the major and the most authoritative oil producing company in the Volga region. It is worth mentioning that last year the company celebrated the 65th Anniversary of the date of its establishment, the press-office of the company reports.
