Ulyanovsk. OAO Ulyanovskneft, the subsidiary of RussNeft, has summarized the operation of its Oilwell Service and Workover Department for the first half of 2015.
In the above period, non-productive time of the workover teams was shortened from 18% to 12.3%. Moreover, the duration of the well-servicing and workover operations themselves was shortened as well.
Such figures have been achieved due to a number of measures taken to boost the effectiveness of the oilwell services and workover.
In particular, the performed revamp facilitated the workover teams logistics.
A new pulling unit APRS-40, KamAZ truck mounted, as well as two multipurpose mobile accommodation units, have been acquired. The Ulyanovskneft continues to outfit its own repair shop for hydraulic, packer and anchor equipment that allowed to discontinue some of contracting services. The savings were allocated for the equipment.
The optimization of processes of well services would increase the productive time and improve the quality.
