OAO NAK AKI –OTYR increases oil production volume at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field

Khanty-Mansiysk. KhMAO-YUGRA. OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, AO NK RussNeft subsidiary, successfully continues the oil production program in Khanty-Mansy autonomous district Yugra.

The oil production plan was fulfilled at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field and exceeded the expected output by 28 thousand amounting to 597 thousand tons. It happened due to well stock increase and successful well interventions.
Thus 2 production wells were planned to be drilled at current Pad 7 with initial rate of 50 tons of oil per day. Two planned wells with average rate of 125 tons per day have been drilled at the moment.  After the results were received, the company intended to drill 2 other  wells allowing to produce additionally around 20 thousand tons of oil. In total 10 production wells, but not 8 as was planned earlier, will be drilled by the company in 2015.
Frac job is the key activity within well interventions. 14 frac jobs were performed in H1 at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field, while it was planned to perform 10. 20 frac jobs will be performed in course of the year.
In later time the successful planning of the well interventions program and development drilling, their efficient implementation will allow to maintain high oil production level at the field. OAO NAK AKI-OTYR will continue to increase oil production output and it is intended to recover 1 177 thousand tons of oil, which is by 83 thousand more than was planned.
