OAO Varioganneft implements the well interventions program
Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft, AO NK RussNeft subsidiary, successfully implements the well interventions program 2015.
OAO Varioganneft successfully implements the program targeted at oil recovery increase at the fields of Variogan oil block. The company performed 123 well interventions according to the H1 results, which provided additional oil production in the amount of 92,4 thousand tons.
43 frac lobs were performed within the reporting period at the fields of Variogan oil block, 10 wells were commissioned by means of applying side-tracking. Apart from that,operations of sub surface equipment at 24 wells were improved, acid treatment of bottom hole was performed at 22 wells. Also the works to transfer the wells at overlying deposits were performed at 14 wells.
Side-tracking brought the most efficient results. The program of launching this method at the fields of Variogan oil block has been implemented since the end of the year. 10 development wells were commissioned during the reporting period at the oilfields of the Company. The total daily oilflow at the revitalized wells made up 280 tons.
The well interventions program significantly influences at the increase of hydrocarbons production. OAO Varioganneft intends to perform 269 well interventions in 2015, the press-office of the company reports, it will bring the company an additional production rate of 358,4 thousand tons.
