OAO Varioganneft implements environmental program

OAO Varioganneft implements Environmental improvement program at the oilfields of the Variogan region.
According to its  Media-Relations Team, the company utilizes oil sludge  from Varioganskoye, Tagrinskoye and West-Varioganskoye oilfields with a volume of 4,119 m³ and recycles  drilling cuttings at Novo-Aganskoye, Valuninskoye, Tagrinskoye and Zapadno-Varioganskoye oilfields.
The total volume of the recycled drilling cuttings in the current year makes up 14,014.5 m³. For the completion of the abovementioned operations  the company has allocated 86.974 mln rubles.
Additionally in 2015 the remediation of the contaminated soil has been continued at the Variogan oil block fields.
Within the framework of the Varioganneft-operated program, the appropriations of 91.435 mln rubles are planned to be made.
OAO Varioganneft  will continue to increase the volume of the neutralization of the hazardous waste produced and to ensure the adherence to the established standards of the admissible impact on the environment. The compliance with ISO 14001:2004 as well as the implementation of the Variogan region environmental improvement program remains the priority of the ecological policy of the subsidiary of Russneft.
