OAO Saratovneftegaz implements the program of vehicles LPG transfer
Saratov. OAO Saratovneftegaz (AO NK RussNeft subsidiary) implements the LPG transfer of vehicles.
OAO Saratovneftegaz systematically implements the LPG transfer of the vehicles involved into operations. At the moment Zavolzhskoye Department of Technical Vehicles, Saratovneftegaz subsidiary, provides their operation, service and maintainance, it is located in the working village Stepnoye in Sovetsky district. The activities developed in 2009 are implemented by the specialists of OOO Zavolzhskoye DTV and include upgrade of the LPG filling station and purchase of the new gas equipment for the company’s vehicle park.
70 vehicles are operating with LPG which makes up around 68% out of the total amount of the vehicles which use petrol as fuel. It is planned to transfer around 30 vehicles to gas fuel in the nearest future, this is mainly crew vehicle and motor vehicle.
It is worth mentioning that the filling of the majority of the vehicles at the station OOO Zavolzhskoye DTV is made with LPG which is made at the unit of gas treatment at OAO Saratovneftegaz Oil Gathering Station-22. It allows to significantly reduce the expenses of the company for fuel, oil and lubricants, by 43% in the average.
Generally the LPG produced and shipped to the market by RussNeft, is by 72% cheaper than petrol. It also has all the characteristics of traditional fuel and it is also more ecological. Toxic level of the products of gas combustion is by several times lower which positively influences the environment.
Apart from that LPG has higher octane level (99-106) and it provides optimal work of the combustion engine which significantly reduces the load on the engine mounts. Consequently it allows saving service and maintenance expenses as well as saving at purchase of expensive spare parts. Using LPG as vehicle fuel does not require changing the construction of the vehicle, the fuel distance is increased in two times by means of two fuel systems.
This is relevant in case of long distance trips, as many operational facilities of OAO Saratovneftegaz are significantly distanced from the vehicle park.
