Ulyanovsk. OAO Ulyanovskneft, subsidiary of RussNeft, completed construction of a high-voltage line at Kudryashovskoye field.
The company completed construction of a high-voltage overhead power supply line at Kudryashovskoye field.
The new 13,770 m long 10 kV high-voltage line connects Krupskaya 35/10 kV substation with Kudryashovskoye field Pad 1 and will eventually supply power to all the three pads of the field ensuring a higher throughput capacity power supply independent on other exterior consumers.
Currently, the field and the socially important facilities of Melekessky region Prostory village receive electrical power from the grid which operation started as long ago as in 1969.
The grid suffers a lot of blackouts due to its aged equipment and many connected consumers. For instance, it tripped 4 times in 2013 and 8 times in 2014.
Commissioning of the new 10 kV line will allow to exclude such risk and ensure uninterrupted operation of the wells at Kudryashovskoye field.
Kudryashovskoye field was opened in 1985, its development started in 1998. There are 25 operation wells. The oil production over the field in 2014 was 98,740 tons. The 2015 drilling schedule provides for drilling of 7 producing wells. Currently, drilling of Well 32 is in progress. Ulyanovsk oilmen believe that Kudryashovskoye field is one of the most promising in Ulyanovsk region.
