Saratov. OAO Saratovneftegaz, AO NK RussNeft producing subsidiary, increases gas utilization

OAO Saratovneftegaz, AO NK RussNeft producing subsidiary, continues to implement activities targeted at gas utilization increase. Along with the significant growth of the gas production (in 2014 this amounted to 447.113 mln cbm, incl. 63.685 mln cbm of APG, 383.428 mln cbm of natural gas), the APG utilization ratio was 88.7%.
Thus, the Malinoovrazhny field separation pad upgrade allowed the company to produce natural gas separately at the same field which significantly improved the quality of the fuel supplied to the customers which now complies with GOST 5542-87 standard. For instance, the greenhouse plant Leto-2002 doubled its consumption of gas after the completion of the performed activities.
Urizkiy oil-treatment plant was upgraded to improve the quality of the gas supplied to the customers of Lysogorsky district of Saratov region. Additional equipment was installed at the separation pad including the air-cooling unit as well as the gas/gas heat exchanger. Thus, it allowed to lower the dew point temperature as well as liquids formation temperature.
Apart from that, Zapadno-Rybushanskoye field oil treatment plant was upgraded to use the APG which was previously flared for the own process demands of the company. The activities performed allowed to increase the ratio of the APG utilization up to 95%.
APG utilization program, implemented in AO NK RussNeft and its subsidiary OAO Saratovneftegaz, is not only economically beneficial but also improves the environment in the areas of the fields under development.
