OAO NAK AKI-OTYR develops the oil treatment system further

OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary, will develop the process scheme of the oil processing unit at Nizhne-Shapshinskoye field in 2015, the company reports.
The oil treatment unit launched in 2006 is a central oil gathering point from all the fields of the Shapshinskaya group. Two additional vertical cylindrical tanks (3000 m3) were put into operation in 2014 within development of the fields for oil storage. Last spring witnessed the launch of the ejector unit which transports the APG from the last separation stages to compressor station.
The facility is going to be developed further in 2015, involving increasing capacity of the oil pump station which pumps oil into trunk pipeline of OAO AK Transneft, launching first stage separator to provide bottom water discharge. The project also includes the on-site pipelines and equipping the tanks with the system of light hydrocarbon fractions.
At the time planning and surveying works are in progress. General design engineer ZAO Giprong-Ekom are developing the project, planning and surveying works completion are expected at the beginning of the second quarter of 2015.
Reconstruction of the oil-treatment unit at Nizhne-Shapshinskoye field will contribute to safe operation of the facility with increasing the volume of fluid supply; it will also allow the transfer into OAO AK Transneft system. Upon completion of the construction and installation works the capacity of the oil-treatment unit will increase up to 2 mln tons of the treated oil per year.
