OAO Varioganneft has met its commitments on compensation to owners of family lands.

Raduzhny, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra. OAO Varioganneft, a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, met its 2014 commitments on compensatory payments to the Yugra indigenous people.

OAO Varioganneft, a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, channeled over 8 mln rubles in 2104 for compensatory payments to the Yugra indigenous people for the usage of their family lands where the Company leads its hydrocarbon production activities, reported the Company’s Press Service. 
The Society has signed separate contracts with heads of family lands taking into account the needs of the indigenous population. The oil company has signed 20 separate contracts with every family so far. Compensatory payments are carried out according to the provisions of the Federal Laws “On Subsoil” and “On guarantees of the rights of Russian Federation small-numbered indigenous people” and other regional laws. Funds were allocated for purchasing of construction materials, snowmobiles, outboard motors, fuel, oil and lubricants.  
Support of the Khanty-Mansi Area indigenous population is one of the charity and sponsorship programs of the OAO NK RussNeft’s subsidiary. For such purposes Varioganneft channeled over 14 mln rubles in 2014.  The Society intends to pay special attention to the support of the family lands owners and implement projects aimed at further development and improvement of the social sphere in the regions of its activities.
