OAO Varioganneft continues the program of energy saving and energy efficiency increase

Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary, continues to implement the program of energy saving and energy efficiency increase.

 

The main objective is to decrease fuel and energy resources consumption as well as to increase energy efficiency of oil production and auxiliary production.
A number of activities were implemented within the program in course of 11 months of 2014. The activities included non-commercial wells shut down with the general capacity of 3 738 kW, optimization of the electrical parameters at ESP unit of 1502 kW.

Compensation of the reactive capacities at Tagrinskoye field allowed to save the power in the amount of 410 thousand of kW hours.
Apart from that, equipment in the reservoir pressure maintenance system was substituted  with higher capacity equipment. The works for improvement of the oil production and treatment system, substitution and reconstruction of electrical equipment were performed as well.

Implementation of the activities for energy saving and energy efficiency increase for the previous period of the current year allowed the company to save 33 mln rubles.

Varioganneft will continue to implement the major directions of the energy saving programs and energy efficiency increase by the end of the current year, the press-office reports. In order to fulfill the planned values the Company plans to use the well-proven technology and equipment.
The implemented program of energy saving both provides a significant economic effect and contributes to decrease the environmental damage.
