OAO Varioganneft applies efficient methods of well optimization

OAO Varioganneft, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary, continues to apply efficient methods of well optimization at fields of Variogan oil block, the press-office reports.

Introduction of a number of technologies provides implementation of an integrated program of producing wells operation efficiency increase. The program includes extension of the overhaul period of well operation and increase of energy efficiency of well operation.  

Thus the procedure of conversion of the wells equipped with electrical submersible pumps into intermittent duty continues.  Intermittent duty introduction allowed to decrease bottom-hole pressure by 15 atm. on the average basis, as well as to get oil production increment for each well of 1.1 ton per day on the average basis as well with saving energy in the amount of 120 kW-hour per day.

OAO Varioganneft will continue implementing activities aimed at well operation optimization, which will allow RussNeft subsidiary to decrease expenses at production of oil and to increase production rate at the fields of Variogansky oil block.
