OAO NK RussNeft increases recoverable resources increment in Saratov region

OAO Saratovneftegaz, OAO NK RussNeft producing subsidiary, increased its recoverable oil resources by 547 thousand tons in 2014. Resource base of three licenses was updated.
In result of the revised estimation of Furmanovskoye field resources the increment of the recoverable resources made up 83 thousand tons. Correction in the resources amount is connected to increase of oil saturation factor, received  in result of new core samples. Testing of Yuzhno-Pervomayskoye oilfield Well 22 showed oil addition in Timano-Pashiysky horizon, which allowed to convert the horizon deposit resources from C2 into C1. Increment of the recoverable C1 resources amounted to 334 thousand tons, that of C2 resources – to 7 thousand tons.
 Apart from that, testing of the K1al reservoir of Lower Albian substage at previously drilled Wells 3-B and 5-B at Bairskoye field (elevation «Vasilyok») resources were converted from C2 into C1 based on prompt reestimation. The expected increment of the recoverable resources makes up 130 thousand tons of oil.
Additional and more detailed subsoil resources survey, as well as continuous monitoring and received data analysis allow the Company to fill up the mineral resources base in the circumstances of the depleted oil and gas deposits.
