NK RussNeft OAO has put in operation a five-million-ton-capacity oil loading terminal in Bryansk. Crude oil is to be pumped from the oil pipeline into railway tank-cars and transported by railway to Mozyr and Novopolotsk refineries (Byelorussia), Baltic States and Eastern Europe.
NK RussNeft OAO has put in operation a five-million-ton-capacity oil loading terminal in Bryansk. Crude oil is to be pumped from the oil pipeline into railway tank-cars and transported by railway to Mozyr and Novopolotsk refineries (Byelorussia), Baltic States and Eastern Europe. $90 million have been invested into this project; out of this amount $60 million were paid by Glencore (Switzerland) and $30 million by RussNeft. RussNeft President Mikhail Gutseriev said that the Company is going to transship 40 thousand tons of crude oil in June, 180 thousand tons in July and 400 thousand tons in August. Moreover, Mr. Gutseriev promised that by the end of the year the Company would finalize whether they were going to build a seven-million-ton-capacity refinery in Kalinigrad or to purchase an existing refinery in the west of Russia.
