A Street Named after Gutseriev in the Capital of Chechnya.
As reported at the administration of Chechnya President, Alu Alkahnov has signed a resolution about naming one of the streets in the Chechenian capital after Mikhail Gutseriev. The respective document was signed on the 8th of September.
“By the resolution of the President of the Republic of Chechnya, Burovaya Street in Grozny will be renamed into the street of Mikhail Gutseriev. In this way the leaders of the Republic have marked the contribution of Gutseriev into the restoration course of Chechnya,” - said an official at the administration.
Some time ago using the means allotted by Mikhail Gutseriev, the head of the oil company RussNeft, a modern school named Mariam (after Gutseriev’s mother) was opened in Grozny. The businessman promised that each year he would restore one project in Chechnya.
