RussNeft has finalized the deal on the purchase of a 50-percent stake in the joint venture called Zapadno-Malobalykskoye OOO (ZMB, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug), according to the information from ZMB’s co-owner Magyar Olaj-es Gazipari Rt. (MOL), a Hungarian oil and gas company.
Former partners of MOL in the OOO (Aleria Management, Inc., Clermon Systems, Inc., Bremon Solutions, Ltd. è SW Solution, Inc. – ANI’s note) are completely out of the deal as MOL confirms. With all that going on the contract obligations of the parties remain in force, MOL pointed out.
RussNeft has obtained approval from RF Federal Antimonopoly Service for the purchase of the 50-percent share in the OOO, the Hungarian company advises.
Yukos and MOL established Zapadno-Malobalykskoye OOO in March 2003 on a parity basis.
In 2004 ZMB boosted its production to 2.3 million tons of crude oil.
