Second ‘Presidential Crude Smelling Street’ in Chechnya.

14.09.2005 "Vslukh.Ru"

In Grozny there has appeared another street named after Gutseriev. The name of Mikhail Gutseriev, the head of Russneft, has been given to a central street of the Chechenian capital. It’s Burovaya street that has substituted the ‘presidential’ name for the old one. The resolution to this effect has been signed by the head of Chechnya Alu Alkhanov. Thus the management of the Republic has marked the contribution of their compatriot Mikhail Gutseriev into the course of Chechnya recovery, as Vslukh.ru was informed by Russneft’s Public Relations Service.

As it turns out it is already the second street in the Republic named after the well-know businessman. Previously initiated by the elders of the village of Goity, the Urus-Martanovsky district, one of the streets of the restored village was named after Gutseriev. In April 2004 Russneft and the management of Chechenian Republic signed a cooperation agreement. Among the most important social projects there have been yearly New Year presents for Chechnya’s children and donation of 70 ambulance cars to the Health Ministry of the Republic. The construction of a modern lyceum-school in the Oktyabrsky region of Grozny has become the biggest project implemented in the Republic. The school was opened shortly before the new school year. It was built to replace destroyed School No 23 in which once studied Mikhail Gutseriev. The school complex is designed for 540 pupils. It has been named Marem after the mother of Mikhail Gutseriev. Mikhail Gutseriev is also planning to do reconstruction of a hospital complex in the Republic and build a diagnosis center in the Urus-Martanovsky region of Chechnya.
