Aganneftegazgeologia Recognized as the Best Yugra’s Small-Scale Enterprise of the Fuel and Energy Complex

Aganneftegazgeologia, a subsidiary of company RussNeft, again won a victory in the 2005 Business Leader of Yugra Contest having been nominated the Best Small-Scale Enterprise of the Fuel and Energy Complex.

At the awarding ceremony ANGG President Kazbek Agnayev was presented with the Golden Mercury Statuette by KhMAO Governor Alexander Filipenko. This year more than 150 enterprises, organizations and businessmen competed for the Business Leader of Yugra title. The main prize of the contest, the Godden Mercury, was given only to 22 nominees basing on the number of nominations in the contest.
Aganneftegazgeologia has become the winner of the prestigious local competition for the second time already. The company is fairly considered to be among the most dynamically developing enterprises of the region. It is a leader in exploration annually discovering new oil fields. Since recently the company has started to produce more than one million tons of crude oil a year. However the accomplishments of the company are not only in the production process. ANGG successfully carries out a number of social programs. The press-service of the company informed UralInformBureau that this year they have completed construction of the Roslavlskoye Oilfield-Novoagansk gas pipeline. The project was done basing on a three-party agreement concluded between the company, Nizhnevartovsk region’s administration and local government. Considerable funds were invested by the company in the development of the site settlement of Novoagansk.
