Oil Company RussNeft OOO has become owner of controlling stakes in five oil producing entities of the Tomsk region, according to the official documents of the company. Specifically, RussNeft has come into possession of 51% stake in limited liability companies named Stolbovoye, Poselkovoye, Fedyushkinskoye, Duklinskoye and Grushevoye. The share of RussNeft in the chartered capital of these companies was changed as of the 20th December 2005.
This is to remind that end of 2004 RussNeft acquired a number of promising oil assets in the Tomsk oil-bearing province which were Stolbovoye, Poselkovoye, Fedyushkinskoye, Duklinskoye and Grushevoye limited liability companies. At the same time in the interests of RussNeft another company named Sobolinoye ZAO was bought having total oil production level of 200 thousand tons per year. The companies thus acquired have in total 18 million tons of C1 recoverable reserves and 10 million tons of C2 recoverable reserves.
